International friendly: South Africa friendly against Madagascar has been cancelled
South African Football Association struggles to find an opponent during the international break continues as Madagascar has withdrawn from the friendly due to unrest in the nation over xenophobic attacks
Madagascar was to replace Zambia after the latter withdrew from the friendly which was due to take place on Saturday, September 7th
In a statement released by the Association, they says
“SAFA regrets to inform the public that the match between Bafana Bafana and Madagascar scheduled for this coming Saturday (7 September) has been called off after the visitors (Madagascar) decided to withdraw from the encounter”.
