Injury Update: Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso undergoes a successful surgery

Black Stars and Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has on Tuesday, November 5 undergone a successful surgery on his right hand

The midfielder suffered a fracture to the metacarpus of his right hand over the weekend in their 4-2 defeat to Osasuna on Sunday in the Spanish top-flight league

He is now set for spells on the sideline as he begin to recover from the injury and has been ruled out of Ghana’s Nation’s Cup Qualifier against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe later this November
