“I Deserve Black Stars Call-up” Left-back Ibrahim Imoro
Speaking in an inclusive interview with Angel FM on Wednesday morning, the premier league best left-back made it known as he feels he deserve a place in coach Otto Addo’s squad
On Black Stars Call up
“I believe I deserve a call up into the Black Stars because it is not easy racking up 8 assists in the season but then I feel, maybe it’s not yet my time so I am still working hard toward that.”
🗣On New players
“The new players are very good and they put in a lot of hard-work .”
“ I wasn’t bothered when Asmah started the season at left back because I didn’t have a great pre-season and he did, so it wasn’t a problem for me but then I found my best form and here we are.”
On title triumph
“We knew we had won the league after beating Hearts of Oak because we knew no team could challenge us.”
On the lack of support at Baba Yara
“Whenever they are present, it gives us a different moral to do well, but whenever they’re absent, it feels like no one appreciate our efforts.”
“ Christopher Nettey is the brain behind our celebrations, he engineers everything.”
“My best assist for the season is the one against Ashgold because from how the Ashgold players celebrated their goal, it was clear that they wanted to spoil our party. That’s why I didn’t join our celebration when Agyemang scored because I was very happy to have had that assist.”
