USL: Explosive Solomon Asante named in USL Championship team of the week

Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante who has been scintillating and dazzling so far this season for his side Phoenix Rising FC capped his historical weekend with a reward after been named in the USL Championship team of the week

Asante scored twice from the penalty spot over the weekend to guide his side to a record 15 unbeaten games at home as well as record 14 straight wins in the USL championship this season

The winger is the top scorer in the league with 18 goals as well as the top assists provider with 13 so far in the season and has over the weekend became the club’s top scorer in history with 32 goals since joining 2 seasons ago
