GPL: Liberty Professionals Renames Home Ground after Late President, Alhaji Sly Tetteh

Ghana premier league side, Liberty Professionals have given a new name to their home ground in Dansoman.

The Park has been renamed after the late club’s President Alhaji Sly Tetteh, whose vision brought about the club’s existence.

Known to many as the Carl Reindorf Park, it will now be called the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park in honor of the late President.

Certainly, not one of the elite clubs in Africa, but Liberty Professionals can boast of some of the most decorated players Ghana has ever produced.

The likes of Awudu Issaka, Michael Essien, Sule Ali Muntari, Asamoah Gyan, Baffour Gyan, Michael Helegbe, et al are all products of the Dansoman based club.
