GPL: Dr. Prosper Nartey is New Head Coach for Karela United

Ghana Premier League side, Karela United have acquired the services of Dr. Prosper Nartey popularly known as ‘Ogum’ as their new head coach ahead of the 2019/2020 Ghana premier league season.

He inherited coach Johnson Smith who is now assistant to coach Kjetil Zachariassen at Asante Kotoko as they prepare for the Caf Confederation Cup outings.

The lecturer cum coach who lectures at one of the nation’s premier University, Univerty of Cape Coast has since signed a two-year deal with the Ayinase based club.

He was presented to the custodians of Ayinase and it’s suburbs.

Karela were dominant in the NCormalization Committee Special Competition tier I where they became second after Asante Kotoko defeated them on penalty shootouts.

Dr. Prosper Nartey had a stint with Ghana Premier League side Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs.
