GPL: AshantiGold SC Mutually Terminates Contract with Ricardo da Rocha

AshantiGold SC have terminated their contract with head coach Ricardo da Rocha by a mutual consent.

It’s literally a few hours for the new Ghana premier league to kickstart but the Obuasi based outfit has no opinion but to mutually terminate his contract with the club.

Ricardo’s ineligibility to coach in the Topflight is due to the fact that he fall short of the requisite certificate (CAF License A) or its equivalent, as directed by the Club Licensing Regulation.

As the Miners search for a substantive coach, assistant coach Yakubu Sheriff Mambo will play a stopgap role in their first game against Accra Great Olympics on Sunday.
