Accra Hearts of Oak have recorded their first win of the season after beatingEbusua Dwarfs 2-1 in match day three of the Ghana Premier League.

Having lost their first two games to Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC respectively, the Phobia boys managed to grind out a positive results to ease the pressure that has enveloped the club after Kim Grant was axed.

New signing Fredrick Ansah Botchway deputed as he was dispatched to handle affairs in midfield alongside Obeng Jnr.

The first half proved to be tough for both sides after they rendered similar accounts of themselves as no goal was recorded.

The pep talk by coach Odoom during the recess obviously worked for Hearts following a coherent and a more direct display which brought about their first ever goal of season.

Again, both Joseph Esso and Kofi Kordzi proved to be free-kick experts to some extent, after both finding the back of the net through free-kick.

It was a free-kick right outside the eighteen yard box and Esso stepped up, curled the ball and swerved the human wall and into right bottom corner of the net.

Kodzi added to the tally with a more spectacular one by lifting and bending the ball above the human wall into the top corner.

Ato Hammond got the consolation for Dwarfs.

Esso was voted man of the match.
