Gilbert Koomson signs 3-year contract with Turkish side Kasimpasa

Talented Ghanaian midfielder Gilbert Koomson has sealed his move to Turkey by signing for top-flight side Kasimpasa.

Koomson completed the move from Norwegian top-flight side Brann after passing his medical.

The Norwegians decision not to talk to the Turkish clubs interested in the player prompted the winger not to attend Brann’s training sessions claiming his interests have not been considered.

“I love Brann, I have been loyal, but now I want to leave,” Koomson said week after absenting himself from Brann training.

Koomson leaves Brann after two years and he is currently the club’s top scorer with eight goals this season.

Koomson has been Brann’s most important player this year, scoring eight goals in 17 matches in the 2020 season.
