Gideon Mensah Tests Positive For Covid-19

Ghanaian defender Gideon Mensah has tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday

The left-back was on international duty with the national team as he featured in both friendly encounters of the Black Stars

Upon return to his club in Portugal, tests conducted on the left-back confirmed he has contracted the novel coronavirus

Gideon Mensah will now go into a fourteen day quarantine before a second test to confirm his negative status

He becomes the second Ghanaian player to have tested positive for the virus after the international break after Bernard Mensah
