Ghanaian goalkeeper through his Foundation donates to Orphanage Home

Former Ghana premier league best goalkeeper, Abdulai Iddrisu through is his foundation donated to an Orphanage home in his native town
The former Bechem United FC and Azam FC goalie who now plies his trade in the Ethiopian top flight league for Ethio Electric made the donation after a charity match in Bole

The Ethio Electric goalkeeper organized his maiden off season charity event to give back to his community
After series of donations in his native town in Sawla where he donated number of footballs and jerseys to clubs
A youth game was organized for U-10 footballers in the community which was supervised by the Northern regional representative of renowned football academy Right to Dream Football Academy

The game saw few of the young talents spotted by him and will hopeful make the grades into the academy system
The bigger event took place on Saturday 5th of July 2025 where a charity match was held between Sawla Legends and Bole Legends at the Bole Kurabasso Park
The game saw big dignitaries including his former coaches, former teammates and family and friends all attending to grace the occasion

Funds were raised from the event and subsequent contributions from donors were donated to Nakwabi Orphanage Home
The items included assorted drinks, bags of rice, mineral drinking water, toiletries and exercise books and an undisclosed amount to the home

Abdulai Iddrisu in his maiden season for Ethio Electric made 25 appearances for the club and kept 13 clean sheets in total
