Ghanaian Duo Jeffery Schlupp and Jordan Ayew Features For Crystal Palace In Pre-Season Friendly

Crystal Palace played their first pre-season game in preparation for the new season with a 2-1 victory against League one side Oxford United.

Player of the year last season Jordan Ayew and Jeffrey Schlupp started for Palace in a squad that had only two changes to the lineup against Tottenham Hotspurs on the last day of last season.

Jordan Ayew was replaced at half-time by Max Meyer, with Palace down by a goal.

Jeffrey Schlupp lasted 71 minutes in the game, and assisted Zaha to level the game in the 51st minute.

The Ghanaian international earlier missed a penalty in the 48th minute, with the Goalkeeper getting the direction of the ball.
