Ghana: No interest in GFA presidency – Dr. K.K Sarpong
Former Ghana premier league giants, Asante Kotoko chairman, Dr. K.K Sarpong has cleared the airwaves as to whether he would be contesting the presidency of the nation’s football governing body
According to the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation boss, he has no intent in becoming the Ghana Football Association president
Speaking in an interview with Asempa FM, an Accra based radio station, he said ” I can tell you emphatically that I’m not interested in Ghana Football Association presidency and I can never be interested. I can assist in other ways but not as the president”
He further urged football people to have good heart and be objective going forward
” Football people should have a good heart and be objective going forward”
Former vice president of the Football Association, Mr. George Afriyie, football administrator Winfred Osei Parma, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Dreams FC owner and bankroller Kurt Okraku and Fred Pappoe have all been earmarked to contest for the presidency after congress later this month
