GFA PRESIDENCY: George Afriyie Gains Medeama SC ‘Unflinching Backing’

Front runner of the 2019 Ghana Football Association elections George Afriyie has gained the backing of Ghana premier league side Medeama SC.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC is the first club to have declared their support for the former GFA President and now seconded by Medeama SC.

Medeama SC made the declaration through their official Twitter account.

The tweet is read as “Medeama SC offers it’s unflinching backing to George Afriyie to become the new President of the Ghana Football Association. We believe he is the man needed at the moment to take the wheel of Ghana football. He has our total support in his quest to become the new face.”

George Afriyie is among the six aspirants namely Kurt E.S Okraku, Fred Pappoe, NanaYae Amponsah, Amanda Clinton and George Ankoma Mensah.
