GFA Hold Fruitful Meeting with Kits Sponsors – Puma
The President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt E.S. Okraku has held talks with sportswear company Puma (who sponsors the Black Stars) in Germany.
The visit is part of his quest to engage all stakeholders of Ghana Football Association.
The marriage between GFA and Puma spans over a decade now and the visit by the President was crucial as he needed to familiarize himself with the FA’s kit partners, as well as discuss important issues.
Youth and infrastructure development was paramount in the discussion. The need for Puma to support Ghana’s youth development programs in diverse ways. Especially when it comes to Puma-sponsored Youth tournaments in Europe.
The GFA President also implored on Puma to assist the GFA with technical exchange programmes with Puma-sponsored partners abroad, as well as support Ghana with a legacy projects at the Ghanaman Soccer center of Excellence and other places in recognition of the long-standing partnership between Ghana and Puma.
Manolo Schürmann, Head of Sports Marketing at Puma gave his word that Puma would discuss and consider the various proposals put forward by Mr. Kurt Okraku.
Samples of Ghana’s official kits which will be unveiled in September 2020 were shown to the the president and his entourage.
He was accompanied by Acting General Secretary Alex Asante and ExCo member Randy Abbey.
