GFA: George Afriyie Gets DOL Advisory Committee Appointment

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed George Afriyie to serve on a five man Division One League Advisory Committee.

The Okye Planners CEO was the fiercest competitor of the current GFA President during the FA Elections in October last year but eventually lost and conceded defeat.

Critics of the Kurt led administration have always opined Kurt’s lack of inclusivity as far his appointments were concerned. They have always argued that he has sidelined his competitors.

But Mr. Afriyie’s appointment is an indication that the FA is not vindictive but it’s ready to work with everyone when need be.

It is also in order for the football community to salute George Afriyie for accepting to work with the GFA. It seldom happens.

The Advisory Committee has been set up to look at the DOL football and it’s related activities.
