GFA ELECTION: Randy Abbey Picks Nomination Forms
Randy Abbey has picked up nomination forms to contest in the upcoming GFA election this year.
Contrary to speculations that Randy was going to run for the presidency, the former Director of Communications of the Ghana Football Association will rather contest for a slot on the Executive Council of the FA.
Until now the Council used to consist of 23 members but the number has been reduced to 12 during the recent GFA Extraordinary Congress where new statutes were adopted, making the bidding process even more competitive.
The Bankroller of Kpando Hearts of Lions and the host of Good Morning Ghana will be battling it out with bigwigs like Fredrick Acheampong and George Amoako, the CEOs of Ashantigold and Asante Kotoko respectively.
The Executive Council elections are scheduled to be held on October 24th.
