FRIENDLY MATCH: Ashantigold SC thumps Tema Youth as Club preps for Berkane

Ashantigold SC win emphatically as they beat Tema Youth in a Club Friendly at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.

The game is a dress rehearsal towards their CAF Confederation match against RS Berkane of Morocco.

Ashantigold drew first blood in the 4th minute through Brazilian import Marco Aurelio Silva before Amos Nkrumah doubled the tally in the closing stages of the first half.

Benjamin Eshun made it 3-0 in the 74th minutes but Atta Kusi had other plans as he quadrupled the score line in the dying embers of the game.

The Caf Confederation Cup first leg game against Berkane is expected to be played on 13-15 September and the return leg on 27-29 September.
