Former Ghana Youth International cautions people of the Upper West Region against the spread of Covid-19
Former Ghana U-20 player, Saeed Adinan has cautioned the people of the Upper West Region against the spread the deadly Covid-19 virus that has engulfed the entire world
The former Wa AllStars defender in an interview urged the natives of the region to be mindful of their daily activities and adhere strictly to the directives put in place to help combat the spread of the virus in the rtegion
“Natives in the region should be cautious of their daily dealings in the society in this difficult times and adhere strictly to the directives put in place by both the health workers and the regional minister to help in fighting the spread of the virus”
With one case recorded in the region so far leaving the citizens in fear and panic as to what next to do to avoid the spread of the virus, the former defender now a coach said
“Having recorded one case of the virus in the region,people should stay calm and avoid unnecessary movement in town and also to stay home and avoid the spread of the virus.In this difficult time adhering to the directives and practicing good personal hygiene particularly regular hand washing and the use of the appropriate hand sanitizers is the only solution to combat the spread”
The Tietaa Football Club head coach has also urged authorities to up their game in this period to help in preventing the spread of the virus
“Authorities in the region as well as religious leaders should do everything in their powers to help in educating the general public on the need to stay home and stay safe during this difficult time”
“We should do well to report any signs of the virus to the appropriate authorities for them to take the necessary measures”
