Former FC Porto and Shanghai Shenzhen City Coach Set To Be Appointed Technical Director For Soccer Scouting Agency
Former FC Porto and Shanghai Shenzhen City coach Ricardo Manuel Marques is expected to be appointed as Technical Director for fast rising soccer academy Soccer Scouting Academy
The 40 year old Portuguese professional football coach holds a Uefa license coach certificate and holds a Master Degree in PE (Physical Education)
and Head Teacher as well
He has a fifteen year working experience in coaching haven spent six years working with FC Porto and three years in China / working with Chinese Football, (Head Coach and Head Master Teacher of Sports)
Director of Soccer Scouting Agency Mr Akwowe and the Portuguese trainer have already met and are ready to work together to grow the agency and football in Ghana
He will take over as the technical director of Soccer Scouting Agency
With his knowledge about the game of football, observation of the game and players, and the methodology of European football, he will create with Mr Akwowe a project in terms of Football, High Performance Training with young players and others who are already in adulthood, to enhance all and all their qualities, both tactically and technically, strategically and mentally.
They will also do a job of teaching local coaches, and observers, scouts, who will work with us to find new talent who will later be trained in our academy so that they can grow and be an option for clubs in Africa and around the world.
It will be an ambitious project but one that will reap the rewards in the medium, long term, and our aim is to make football in Ghana more competitive and closer to the European level.
Together we will work with competence, rigor and ambition, always believing in the process, which I believe will be a winner.
