Former Asante Kotoko head coach C.K Akunnor has been named as the new Black Stars assistant coach to replace Ibrahim Tanko

The decision was made after a meeting yesterday were the new Ghana Football Association Executive Council endorsed Head Coach James Kwasi Appiah’s decision to engage C.K Akunnor as his assistant while former assistant Ibrahim Tanko concentrate solely on his role as the head coach of the Black Meteors

C.K Akunnor’s appointment is on temporary base and he will be on allowances for the next two qualifiers of the senior national team
