Felix Annan wins SWAG football of the year award (Local)

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan has been named the Sports Writers Association of Ghana Footballer of the Year Locally.

The Asante Kotoko captain was awarded for an outstanding output in 2019.

Annan won the coveted award ahead of former AshGold SC striker Shafiu Mumuni, and former Dreams FC forward Joseph Esso.

Annan was instrumental for his club in CAF inter-clubs competitions and got a Black Stars call-up in the process.

Annan signed a 3-year contract extension in 2019 which keeps him at the club until 2023.
