Exclusive: Wa Youth Resource Centre almost complete

Work is progressing steadily at the facility in Dondoli- Wa. The playing surface is smoothly prepared and ready for action anytime soon.

The volleyball, Basketball and Long Tennis courts are also taking shape and will be done hopefully very soon, also in line to be completed is the Tartan track for Athletics.

All seats have also been fixed and ready for fans.

The President of the Republic of Ghana on his two days visit to the upper West Region in October last year, made a promise to the people of Wa and and the family of the late B.K Adama to name the Youth resource center after the late Stalwart.

The President on his second day made the promise at Tungsung 97.3 Radio during an interview as part of his visit.

“Youth Resource Centre is about 95% complete, will be named after B.K Adama” – H.E President Akufo-Addo said in his final remarks at Tungsung 97.3 Radio.
