Exclusive! Upper West Division 2 side ‘Sombo Freedom Stars’ unveil new Head Coach & Assistant

The Sombo based Football Club unveiled their new set of Technical handlers in a colorful ceremony to welcome them into their family.

Sombo Freedom Stars landed an experienced gaffer for the vacant position left by former Coach Nii JayBoy after the 2020/2021 season where Sombo Freedom Stars finished 3rd place, securing an FA Cup slot.

Alhassan Osman Yahaya, affectionately called ‘Hard One’ will guide the Team into the 2021/2022 season in their quest for their first ever 2nd tier qualification since established in 2005.

Coach ‘Hard One’ will be assisted by Coach Baba Iddi in the upcoming season.

New player recruits were also present at the ceremony that took place at Heaven Gate restaurant in Sombo.
