Asante has earned his second consecutive nomination for the MVP award after winning it in 2019 as he became the first player in championship history to claim top assist provider with nine assists in the regular season
The Phoenix Rising FC skipper also notched in six goals and led the championship with chances created (42) as Phoenix Rising FC finished the regular season tied for the league-high with 43 goals
Winner of the 2020 USL Championship MVP award will be announced on November 6
