The Phoenix Rising FC skipper was phenomenal for his side on the opening day for the season in their 6-2 victory against Portland Timbers II

Solomon Asante scored once and grabbed a hat-trick of assists on the night for the defending champions

The outstanding performance earned him a place in the USL Championship team of the week for the opening day of the season
