EUROPE: Swedish Court Set To Release Kingsley Sarfo From Prison Tomorrow
Ghana and Malmö FF winger Kingsley Sarfo is set to be released from prison in Sweden after almost two years of incarceration.
The Ghana international was arrested and incarcerated for a defilement case filed against him by his girlfriend.
At a point the winger was released from prison, suspended from playing for Malmö FF and set to be deported to Ghana but was re-arrested again and sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
Sources from Sweden suggests there’s a whole new twist to the case and as a result, the Ghanaian may be out from prison tomorrow even before the stipulated period is due.
Sarfo is the second Ghanaian to be jailed in the Scandinavian country after Kwame Bonsu went through similar ordeal and was deported as a result.
