Europe: Midfielder Afriyie Acquah joins Turkish side Yeni Matalyaspor

Black stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah has penned a two year deal with Turkish top-flight side Yeni Matalyaspor with an option to extend by a year in future on Friday

The former Torino and Empoli midfielder signed the deal after going through routine medical successful in Turkish today

The midfielder last played in the Italian Serie A for relegated Empoli last season making 28 apps and scoring twice

He was part of Ghana’s team at last month’s afcon held in Egypt and has been capped 36 times for the senior national team scoring only a single goal till date
