Ghana ex footballers, Michael Essien and Samuel Osei Kuffour have been named in Sun Football Africa best XI

The former Chelsea and FC Bayern Munich players were named among numerous astute and decorated African footballers

The list includes former Cameroonian legend Rigobert Song, forner Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and former Bafana Bafana defender Lucas Radebe

Five times African footballer of the year Yaya Toure, four times African footballer of the year Samuel Eto’o Fils, Legendary Didier Drogba, African greatest and 1995 Fifa world footballer of the year George Oppong Weah as well as English premier league side Liverpool FC duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane
