Europe: Ghanaian winger Ismael Yartey scores as KPV Kokkola thrash RoPS Pallaseura in relegation play-off

Former Ghana youth international, Ismael Yartey was on the score sheet for KPV Kokkola as they thrashed RoPS Pallaseura 4-1 at home in the relegation playoff in Finland

Nigerian veteran defender Taye Taiwo opened the scoring in the 11th minute of the match for RoPS Pallaseura to take an early lead before Finnish international Sebastian Mannstrom equalised on the 31st minute as they went to the break with a 1-1 score line

KPV Kokkola came out for the second half stronger as they netted three times to complete the come back

Finnish forward Enoch Banza scored on the 74th minute to give KPV Kokkola a 2-1 lead before compatriot forward made it 3-1 five minutes after the second goal

Ismael Yartey netted the fourth with six minutes to end the match as KPV Kokkola earned a resounding victory in the relegation playoff

The goal is the winger’s fifth of the season in eight games
