A brace from Nigerian forward Olarenwaju Kayode in the 32nd and 40th minute respectively gave the home side a two goal advantage heading into the break

Turkish midfielder Guray Vural increased the tally for the home team in the 56th minute of the game before compartriot midfielder Berat Ayberk Ozdemir reduced the deficit for the away team in the 69th minute

Turkish defender Oguz Ceylan restored his side’s two goal lead with eighteen minutes to end proceedings

Turkish defender Ahmet Oguz and France defender Pierre – Yves Polomat were both sent off for professional foul for the away team in the 27th and 38th minutes respectively

The victory is Gaziantep’s first in the season and sits tenth with three points after match day two. Next for the newly promoted side is an away trip to Sivasspor on Sunday September 1
