Black stars forward Kwesi Appiah was impressive in the front line for AFC Wimbledon in their narrow 2-3 lost against Peterborough in the English league one

The striker provided an assist and lasted the entire duration of the match

AFC Wimbledon have been poor throughout the season and came into the game from two consecutive defeats whiles opponent Peterborough came to the game following a draw and a defeat as well

Peterborough went to the break with a two goal lead with goals from Marcus Maddison and Mohamed Eisa in the 29th and 41st minute of the match respectively

AFC Wimbledon came into the second half with a point to prove as forward Kwesi Appiah teamed up Mitchell Pinnock to score in the 53rd minute to reduce the deficit

Mohamed Eisa got his second of the day to restore a two goal lead for Peterborough in the 66th minute of the match before AFC Wimbledon scored another to reduce the deficit in the 78th minute through Anthony Wordsworth as Peterborough run out with a 3-2 win at home

AFC Wimbledon sits 22nd in the table with three points after eleven matches in the league. Next is a home encounter against Rochalde on Saturday, October 5
