Black stars duo of Andre Dede Ayew and Andy Yiadom squared off against each other in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon as they battle for supremacy over each other
Both played full throttle for their respective clubs as well as contributing greatly to their club’s fortunes in the match
Dede Ayew assisted for Swansea City whiles Andy Yiadom netted in the match
Swansea City came to the fixture at the back of defeat against Watford in the EFL Cup in mid week whiles also came to the game from defeat to Wolves in the EFL Cup on penalties
Both sides were hoping to make amends for their exit from the Cup competition
Dede Ayew teamed up nicely for Spainish forward Borja Baston to open the scoring in the 3rd minute of the match to give Swansea City a 1-0 lead heading to half time
Andy Yiadom became the hero of the day for Reading after scoring the equalizer in the 90th minute mark of the match to secure a vital away point for his club
The goal is Yiadom’s first of the season in nine matches in the season with two assists as well
Reading sits 20th on the table after nine matches with eight points. Next is home clash against Fulham on Tuesday, October 1
