EPL: Jordan Ayew Cautions Crystal Palace’ Fans not to be too Excited

Ghana and Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has told Crystal Palace’ fans to be measured in their expectations.

Crystal Palace are sixth on the league log, tied on points with Chelsea and Leicester City and this feat has shake up the fan base of the Eagles.

But speaking to Mirror Sport, Ayew said “Sometimes I can understand when people get excited because mostly we start the season slowly and then get up to speed. But we have started this season differently and are getting important results, so I understand why people are excited“.

He added that though there’s positivity among the players but their ultimate goal is to get the team to safety “The feeling in the dressing room is positive – first we want to get to safety as soon as possible, then we will take it from there.

The Ghana international is in the form of his career after netting three times in seven games.
