Colossal Ismail Abdul Ganiyu Named In Black Stars Squad For Upcoming International Friendy Matches

Red-hot Ismail Abdul Ganiyu has been named among coach C.K Akonnor squad for the upcoming international friendly games for the senior national team Black Stars

The former Wa AllStars and Karela United FC centre-back has been among in the 30 man squad released by the head coach of the senior national team

He has been a standout performer for Asante Kotoko throughout the season featuring in all but one match in all competitions for the Porcupine Warriors and has scored twice so far this season in the league

Ismail Abdul Ganiyu earned his debut call up to the senior national team for their last two Afcon qualifying matches against South Africa and São Tomé and Principe

He featured in all two games for the Black Stars and enjoyed a debut delight with impressive performances in both matches

The Black Stars will face Morocco and Ivory Coast during the international break in June

The games come in place of the cancelled FIFA World Cup qualifiers which were set for next month
