CLUB FRIENDLY: Liberty Professionals stunned by Second Tier side Accra Lions FC

Ghana Premier top flight Liberty Professionals were on Saturday stunned by Lower Tier side Accra Lions.

The match was played at the Sly Tetteh park in Dansoman, the home ground of Liberty Professionals.

With their direct approach, Liberty were a bit in control of the game, dictating pace and being combative and imposing in the early stages of the game.

Accra Lions who are managed by a French tactician Bruno, soon settled and took over the game by storm, increased the tempo, controlling possession, playing intricately and escaping pressure, making it difficult for the Dansoman based outfit to contain.

Defensively they were even better as they looked calmer and kept their composure and dealing with all the threats Liberty forwards posed.

Midfielder Collins Opare scored the only goal to hand the East-Legon based Club a victory.
