CAFCL: Etoile Eliminates Asante Kotoko From Champions League

Etoile Sportive Du Sahel brushed aside Asante Kotoko to progress to the knockout stages of the 2019/2020 Caf Champions League with a resounding 3-0 victory.

Kotoko performed below par and could not hold on to their 2-0 lead in the first leg, allowing Etoile to dominate proceedings in most part of the game.

A suspicious penalty was the turning point for Etoile. They increased their tally to 2-0 before getting a player sent off in the second half

Even with a man down Kotoko couldn’t capitalize on the numerical advantage as Etoile won by 3-2 on aggregate to qualify at the expense of the Porcupine Warriors.
