BLACK STARS: I’m Ready for other National Teams If….. – Latif Blessing

Former Liberty Professional forward who now ply his trade in the MLS with Los Angeles FC has expressed his deep grief about the constant neglect he suffer from the national team handlers.

The 2016 season top scorer and Best Player of the Ghana Premier League who’s living up to the hype by scoring 11goals in the Major League Soccer has stated he’ll consider playing for other countries if he’ll continue to be sidelined by the coaches and technical staff of the Ghana Black Stars.

Speaking through LAFC social media platform (Facebook), the diminutive forward stated emphatically:

“Not getting a call-up is a difficult thing to deal with and sometimes I feel disappointed……if Ghana is not ready to give me a call up I’ll play for another country that wants me. I need to move forward as a player. If the United States give me a call-up I’ll say yes to it.”

This is perhaps the third time Blessing has cried out but it continued to fall on deaf ears as he’s yet to be invited since he was once named in a provisional squad ahead of the 2017 AFCON but didn’t make the final list.
