BLACK STARS: Avram Grant Wants Ghana Job Again
Former Chelsea and Ghana Black Stars manager, Avram Grant says he’ll welcome an opportunity to coach the national team again.
Grant was appointed coach of the Ghana national football team in 2014 but stepped down as coach after a defeat in the semifinals of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Speaking in an interview he relishes the opportunity to work with Ghana again: “I really miss Ghana and I want to reunite with Ghana again if I’m given the opportunity. I have so many memories about Ghana.
He also added that there too much politics in Ghana football “there’s too much politics in the game which I don’t want to talk about or involve myself. I love Ghana and ready to come back again.”
Avram Grant is the current technical advisor of Indian Super League side NorthEast United where Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan plies is trade.
