Black Stars number one goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been nominated for the 2019/20 Absa Premier League Player of the Year for this outstanding performance in the league for Maritzburg United

The award is organised by KickOff Magazine to award the outstanding star of the season and will be determined by votes from fans through kickoff.com

Richard Ofori has kept 10 Clean Sheets in 22 Matches for Maritzburg United helping them to 5th on the league table before the suspension of the Absa premier league season due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in South Africa and the world at large

He is in competition with seven other nominees for the 2019/2020 KickOff Magazine footballer of the season;
