Black Queens midfielder Lily Niber-Lawrence has urged Ghanaians to stay at home to avoid the spread of the deadly coronavirus that has besieged the universe

In an exclusive interview with the Spainish based Extremadura UD midfielder has cautioned Ghanaians to take pandemic as serious as it is

“The situation here in Spain is very bad and frightening. We have been locked indoors for the past three weeks and counting and only go out when it is necessary”

“In Spain, only food vendors and medical centers are open to the public at the moment. So the only time you go out is to either buy food or get some drugs for yourself and then you are back in the home”

“Authorities are strict on the lockdown and if you are found wanting, you will be dealt with appropriately”

The former Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies went further to advice Ghanaians and the people of her native Upper West Region to stay home in order not to spread the virus

“My advice to the people is that, they should stay home as the virus doesn’t move but it is the human who spread it by moving from one place to the other. Also we should adhere to all the directives from the frontline health workers and the government on measure in preventing the spread of the deadly virus”
