With the bragging rights at stake at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday between two regional rivals Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold SC it was the Obuasi based club Ashantigold SC who won the rights defeating rivals Kotoko 4-3 on penalties in the B.K Edusei Memorial Cup

After a pulsating goalless draw at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on the day, it took penalties to arrive at the winner

Kotoko missed three spot kicks whiles Ashantigold missed two kicks in the twelve spot kicks taken

Forward Amos Nkrumah scored the decisive penalty to hand Ashantigold SC the victory and the bragging rights as well
