ASC SURVEY: Asante Kotoko Burkinabe Import Songne Yacouba is GPL ‘Most Exciting Player’

Asante Kotoko forward Songne Yacouba has been adjudged as the most “Exciting Player” in the Ghana Premier League by ASC.

The Ghana Premier League Report details how contributors rated the Asante Kotoko Burkinabe import 16% ahead of his counterparts making him the “Most Exciting Player” in the local terrain and expressed why they cannot wait to watch him take the upcoming season by storm.

Yacouba is one of Kotoko’s quartet who earned high ratings in the Report which was published on Tuesday.

Goalie and skipper of the Porcupine Warriors, Felix Annan fall short of just 1% with 15%, whiles Emmanuel Gyamfi and Justice Blay had 11% and 6% respectively.

Meanwhile Ashanti Gold attacker Shafiu Mumuni attracted 7% and Hearts of Oak duo of Joseph Esso and Manaf Gumah also earned 6% each.

The African Sports Centre for Data, Research and Technology (ASC), is an organization with the sole aim of championing African sports excellence through data, research and technology.

The exploratory survey was carried out between October and November across every district in all the regions in Ghana.
