Asante Kotoko condemns Baba Yara shooting incident over the weekend

Asante Kotoko have condemned the shooting incident that occurred at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday following their narrow defeat to Berekum Chelsea

A supporter of the club with the name Augustine Opoku was shot through the head by a police officer at the match venue

Augustine Opoku was rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi and currently responding to treatment

In a release signed by the Public Relations Officer of the club Kennedy Boakye Ansah, Kotoko condemned the unfortunate incident and will team up with the various stakeholders during investigations.
