Al Hilal arrive in Ghana for Kotoko clash

Al Hilal Club of Sudan have landed safely in Ghana for the CAF Champions League First Round 1st Leg encounter with Asante Kotoko on Wednesday 23 December at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Both teams won their preliminary round encounters to meet at this stage of the competition.

Asante Kotoko eliminated FC Nouadhibou in a Technical decision from CAF after players from FC Nouadhibou tested positive for Covid-19 before the second Leg in Accra, Al Hilal on the other hand eliminated Vipers SC of Uganda.

Asante Kotoko will be led by Interim Head Coach Johnson Smith, after the sacking of Maxwell Konadu on Friday morning.
