Head coach Ibrahim Tanko and his gallant stars arrived in Ghana after their historic victory over Algeria U23 team to seal a place in the 2019 CAF U23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt

The team touched down in the country on Thursday morning after transiting through Ivory Coast from Algeria on Wednesday evening

An individual brillince goal from captain Yaw Yeboah ensured the Black Meteors qualify on a 2-1 aggregate after the first leg match ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana

Ghana join seven other countries for the CAF U23 Cup of Nations which will be staged in Egypt

The tournament also serves as a qualifier for the 2020 Olympics Games.
