Afcon U23: No Ghanaian match official for the upcoming tournament as Caf appoints three female officials on the list

Ahead of the upcoming Afcon U23 in Egypt this month, Caf have appointed match officials for the upcoming tournament and there isn’t any Ghanaian on the list

For the second time in male Caf competitions, the appointment committee has named three female officials on the list ahead of the tournament

The first of such was at the Afcon U17 Championship tournament in Tanzania which also saw three female match officials participating in the competition last April

Rwandan referee Salma Mukasanga leads the female trio and joined on the list by assistant referees Diana Chikotesha and Fathia Jermoumi of Zambia and Morocco respectively

The trio has been included in a 25-man list consisting 12 match referees and 13 match assistant referees

The competition gets underway on the 8th of November to the 22nd of November in Egypt
