Afcon U23: Black Meteors to embark on two weeks training camp in Egypt ahead of the Afcon U23 Championship
The Black Meteors of Ghana will embark on two weeks training camp in Egypt ahead of the upcoming Africa U23 Championship to be hosted in Egypt after the Ghana Football Association has approved of the move by the technical and management handlers of the National U23 team
The team led by head coach Ibrahim Tanko are expected to camp in the host country, Egypt from Monday October 28 to the kick off of the tournament come next month
Currently in camp with only locally based players, head coach Ibrahim Tanko is expecting in camp twelve foreign based players ahead of the start of the competition next month
The Black Meteors are paired in group A alongside host nation, Egypt, Mali and Cameroon
The flagship competition starts next month from November 8- 22 with the top three nations progressing to the Olympic games in Tokyo, Japan
