Ghanaian Duo To Square-Off Against Each Other In The Third Qualifying Round Of The Uefa Champions League

Ghanaian duo of Ernest Asante and Richmond Boakye Yiadom will battle against each other for a place in the Uefa Champions League play-offs

Ernest Asante’s Omonia Nicosia FC has been paired against Richmond Boakye Yiadom’s Red Star Belgrade in the third round qualifying stages of the Uefa Champions League

The draw for the third round qualifiers featured 16 teams which were paired against each other for the next round of qualifiers

Red Star Belgrade will travel to Cyprus for the encounter which will be played on September 15-16 in all the third round qualifiers

The ties are one-off matches with extra time and penalty shoot-out all involved if required with winners advancing to the Uefa Champions League play-offs while the losing side’s join the Uefa Europa League play-offs or group stage
