Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu to wear jersey number 22 for Southampton

Southampton Football Club’s squad numbers for the men’s first-team have been confirmed ahead of the 2020/21 season.

There are some notable changes for the new campaign, with captain James Ward-Prowse moving from the 16 shirt to the 8, while Ryan Bertrand takes 3, Oriol Romeu wears 6, Nathan Redmond becomes the new number 11, Michael Obafemi switches to 14, and Will Smallbone takes on 20.

Summer signings Kyle Walker-Peters and Mohammed Salisu take 2 and 22 respectively, with Salisu replacing Nathan Redmond who switches to 11.
